According to a CNN-IBN source, the final report submitted by the Mudgal committee contains the name of one international cricketer who plays for India.

Srinivasan spared

The report has spared ICC Chairman N Srinivasan of any wrongdoings, but his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan has been accused after his voice was identified in the tapes to which the Mudgal committee had access to. Considering Meiyappan was the former Team Principal of the Chennai Super Kings, there could be repercussions for the 2-time IPL champions as well.

The source also mentions that the name of Raj Kundra, the co-owner of the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, figures in the report.

MS Dhoni questioned

The Mudgal committee has also questioned MS Dhoni’s conflict of interest with the India and CSK captain holding a 15% stake in the sports management company Rhiti Sports and acting as the Vice-President of India Cements, the owners of the Chennai-based IPL team.

Speaking after submitting the report yesterday, Justice Mukul Mudgal said: "The report has been submitted in a sealed cover. Court will decide what to do now," Justice Mudgal told reporters. "I cannot say more about the report, case will come [up for hearing] on November 10.

"I won't comment on the content of the report, won't be able to talk about it yet. It's a new report but connected with the preliminary report."

The world of cricket was rocked last year when Rajasthan Royals players S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on charges of spot-fixing. Just days later, Meiyappan and actor Vindu Dara Singh were arrested for betting on IPL matches.

"It's not for me to be satisfied but for the Supreme Court," Mudgal said when asked if he was happy with his work.

The Mudgal committee, which was appointed by the Supreme Court, also included former India captain Sourav Ganguly as one of its members.
