Sachin Tendulkar might play his 200th Test in India

Sachin Tendulkar is set to play historic 200th Test in India, to the delight of his fans. BCCI are said to be working on squeezing in a home series against West Indies just before India leave on a tour of South Africa.

The BCCI working committee have agreed upon two Tests, Mumbai and Kolkata being the preferred venues, and five one-day internationals against West Indies, to be played in November. BCCI confirmed the news on Twitter with the tweet, ‘The Working Committee have approved a proposed home series against the West Indies in November 2013″.

This latest development has given rise to speculations that India’s tour of South Africa might be put on hold. India were slated to play two T20s , seven ODIs and three Tests, which was scheduled to start from November 21.

The iconic batsman,Sachin Tendulkar, who has played 463 ODI games scoring 18,426 runs, has already retired from ODI and T20 formats of the game and he might reportedly hang up his boots altogether after his 200th Test match.
