Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, who is celebrating his 42nd birthday today, has admitted to finding his juggling act to keep things balanced between his cricket commitments and his passion for football difficult.

A veteran of the game with more than 18000 international runs, Ganguly is expected to reach England just one day ahead of the first Test between India and England, which starts on 9 July, for his Star Sports commentary stint, which will mean that the man with 113 Test caps will miss celebrating the special occasion with his friends and family.

"That's the way it is, can't help," said Ganguly, regretting not spending time wife Dona and daughter Sana on his birthday.

Soon after attending his Indian Super League (Football) team Atletico de Kolkata’s unveiling of official logo and jersey, Ganguly was off to Delhi to catch his flight.

A well known passionate follower of football, Ganguly predicted a final involving Germany and the Netherlands in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2014.

"Obviously as a football fan I would love to see a Brazil-Argentina final, but going by the form it looks to be Germany versus the Netherlands," said Ganguly.
