Video: Stephen Fleming encourages Indian fans to come down to New Zealand for World Cup 2015

Former Kiwi cricket captain Stephen Fleming has encouraged Indian fans to come down to New Zealand during the 2015 ICC World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand starting February 14.

Fleming, who is currently the coach of the IPL side Chennai Super Kings, said: “New Zealand and India have a longstanding and warm relationship. We look forward to welcoming Indian visitors to New Zealand in 2015, to not only enjoy the Cricket World Cup, but to experience our world-class food, beautiful scenery, and warm hospitality. New Zealand is a fantastic destination, for tourists and business people alike.

"The majority of New Zealand’s merchandise export trade into India is commodity based, and has been for many years. However, we’re seeing increased interest in premium food and beverage products, alongside IT, knowledge-based and creative industries, education, green technologies, manufacturing and aviation.

"Between business and cricket, New Zealand and India already have much in common.

"I look forward to welcoming you to New Zealand in 2015”.
