Aaron Ramsey has quashed speculation that he needs surgery this summer on a persistent thigh problem, confirming that it was rumours via his Twitter page.
The Arsenal midfielder was reportedly set to go under the knife in the summer after he missed three months of the campaign with a thigh problem. However, Ramsey confirmed that the news was not true and told his followers to ignore any rumours.
The 23-year-old was reportedly set to see a specialist to fix the problem, however, the news has been quashed and Ramsey has indicated he is already thinking about next season with Arsenal.
The Welshman grabbed the winning goal in the FA Cup final earlier in May, to help Arsenal and Arsene Wenger to their first trophy in nine years. Ramsey has had a scintillating season, despite being ruled out for such long periods with various injuries.
Aaron Ramsey has won 65 tackles, more than any other Arsenal player.
