Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez will miss the Gunners' Premier League trip to city rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday with a persistent hamstring problem. The Chile international, 26, has scored 18 goals in all competitions since his arrival, and will be missed sorely in the big match.

“He is not far away, the Leicester game on Tuesday is a possibility," said manager Arsene Wenger.

“He is of course very difficult to keep quiet. He is training but it's light training.

“Welbeck is back in the group. Apart from that we have the same squad available as last week.'

Striker Danny Welbeck has recovered from a thigh injury and will feature for the first time since 28 December. Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both yet to return to full training following injury lay-offs.

Arsenal are placed fifth on the table, and Tottenham one place and two points below their rivals.
