Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is an English football player who plays as the winger. His full name is Alexander Mark David "Alex" Oxlade-Chamberlain and he plays for Premier League Club Arsenal and the England national football team. His father is theformer Stoke City, Sheffield Wednesday former and England international player Mark Chamberlain. Alex started his football career with the Southampton Academy at the age of seven, signed his first professional contract with the Southampton in 2010 making his debut for the club at the age of sixteen. Chamberlain scored his first goal in the Football Cup League on August 10th, 2010 that promoted the team to the PFA League One Team of the Year for the season 2010–11. Finally he signed on with club Arsenal on August 8th, 2011 and made his Arsenal debut on 28 August 2011, in the 8–2 defeat at Manchester United. On 20 September 2011, Oxlade-Chamberlain scored his first goal for Arsenal in the 58th minute of a League Cup match against Shrewsbury Town becoming the youngest Englishman goal scorer in UEFA Champions League. At the end of his first season in the Premier League, Oxlade-Chamberlain was nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year. Oxlade-Chamberlain made his debut for the senior England side on 26 May 2012 in a 1–0 win against Norway. Following this Although he got called-up to England squad for UEFA Euro 2012 becoming the second youngest player ever to represent England in the European Championships behind Wayne Rooney.
