The Managing Director of Chelsea, Christian Purslow, is confident that Wipro’s expertise in global information technology, consulting and business process services will aid the club in creating an experience that fans have not experienced before within the stadium.

He said: “Wipro is a leading global company delivering world-class services that put their customers at the heart of everything they do. We plan on using this partnership to truly enhance the fan experience for millions of Chelsea supporters worldwide. Wipro’s expertise in building winning propositions that sit at the intersection of strategy, design and technology will help sustain our position as the digital leader in global sport.

Apart from the expertise of the IT giant, Chelsea see potential to build on their already growing global fanbase as Purslow expanded on their outlook on the deal.

He added: “It is also exciting to enter into a global partnership with Wipro given their significant presence and brand coverage in India - a market where we have over 50 million passionate supporters and where there is great potential to further build our fan base.”

Senior Vice President and Global Head of Wipro Digital, Rajan Kohli reiterated this speaking about the deal while also speaking about 'Customer Journey Engineering’ that Wipro specialises in and could add to the digital experience Chelsea are aiming to create.
