Video: Chelsea fans pull prank at Emirates ahead of London Derby

Chelsea fans prank

Chelsea fans wearing masks of Jose Mourinho, Diego Costa, Didier Drogba and Cesc Fabregas placed blue and white letters spelling out Chelsea on the Arsenal lettering outside Emirates Stadium in North London. The fans who deem themselves the “C-Team” made a video of their antics, set to the iconic music of the “A-Team”.

The fans also triggered blue smoke bombs and left them around the sign and celebrated in front of the sign before they left.

Arsenal club officials cleared up the Chelsea letters after 10 minutes of the incident.

The “C-Team” in the video call their act a "mission” that attempts to “bring a touch of class to a war-torn area known only as the Emirates.”

The fans’ light-hearted attempt is a pre-cursor to the London Derby on Sunday. The match carries even more significance than usual as it will be crucial to Chelsea’s final stretch to the Premier League title and Arsenal’s attempt to derail their campaign and capitalise on it.
