Chelsea fans raising funds for all-expense paid trip to Stamford Bridge for racism victim

Chelsea fans eager to bring Souleymane S and family to London

Chelsea fans are working to raise the required funds to bring Souleymane S, his wife and children to Stamford Bridge on an all-expense paid trip, as they want him and his family to meet real fans of the club.

Souleymane was recorded being denied entry to a coach, and was pushed out of the metro by fans of Chelsea, who also chanted "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."

The organiser of the funds, Caroline Rice, hopes to raise 2000 pounds to make the visit for Souleymane and family a comfortable one. They have collected 800 pounds from 75 fans so far today.

Rice was noted as saying, “I was shocked and horrified by the racist event... so I have decided to put my money where my mouth is.”

Chelsea have confirmed the suspension of five fans from Stamford Bridge following the news and have also planned to arrange a visit for Souleymane. The Police have released images of the three fans they think were part of the group that attacked Souleymane.
