Andre Schurrle (L) to be involved in an exchange deal with Marco Reus?

Andre Schurrle has been made Borussia Dortmund’s no. 1 target to replace Marco Reus, reports German media agency Bild.

Schurrle has been struggling to make his name in the Blue shirt, and despite his contract lasting up to 2018, his future at the club doesn’t look very bright either with only 4 starts in the Premier League this season.

On the other hand, Marco Reus is almost set for a transfer away from Borussia Dortmund at the end of this season after the club had ruled out any possibility of him signing a new contract. He is now being linked with a move to Chelsea in an exchange deal with Schurrle going on the other way.

Reus is one of Europe’s most sought-out players at the moments with clubs like Bayern Munich and Manchester City already on his trail. Reus has always been a player who has preferred trophies over money, and it is very much likely that he will not join rivals Bayern Munich out of respect for his current club.

He will be available for as low as £20m which is his buy-out clause at the end of the season, and is very much likely to prefer a move to the Premier League..
