Romelu Lukaku has been away on loan for the last two seasons

According to the Express, Jose Mourinho will sanction the sale of at least Five Blues players this summer in a £75 million squad reshuffle. Including Romelu Lukaku and Fernando Torres.

The five players that the Express understand are leaving Stamford Bridge are Fernando Torres, Romelu Lukaku, John Obi Mikel, Petr Cech and Ryan Bertand.

Reports emerged on Thursday that Torres is adamant he wants to stay at Chelsea despite not being part of Jose Mourinho’s plans next season.

The former Liverpool striker has two years left on his £160,000-a-week contract and has been linked with a move to Inter Milan. However, the 30-year-is said to harbour no desire to leave and wishes to fight for his place. Torres was signed for £50 million.

Lukaku, meanwhile, is understood to want out of Chelsea in light of Diego Costa’s imminent arrival from Atletico Madrid. Lukaku joined Chelsea for £20million.

Tottenham have been strongly mooted in a move for the Belgian striker, although they’d need to offload one of Emmanuel Adebayor or Roberto Soldado to free up space on the wage bill.

With Thibaut Courtois expected to return from his three-year loan stint at Atletico and assume the No. 1 role, Cech will be the man to lose out. Ligue 1 sides Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have been touted as possible destinations.

The signing of enforcer Nemanja Matic last January is said to spell the end for the £10.5 million-rated Mikel, while Bertrand has grown tired of successive loan deals and is searching for a permanent move, with Southampton and Aston Villa among the interested parties.
