Kevin De Bruyne: Urged to leave but a massive couple of weeks for the Belgian

Eden Hazard has spoken out about the situation Kevin De Bruyne faces at Chelsea with it being World Cup year in Brazil next summer and has urged him to leave Chelsea.

As we know, De Bruyne has struggled to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge as it stands and was criticised by the manager for his performances.

Now only the other week, I posted that the likes of Michael Essien and KDB should be given a chance as I personally feel as though they have been overlooked too often so far this season. In the next three or four games coming up, we will have the opportunity to shake things up after two dreadful results and it will be interesting to see if KDB finally gets a look in.

Hazard speaking with Belgium in the past week said:

“If he does not play, it is better for him to leave. Playing a World Cup after having not played for a year… is very difficult. If we want to get the best from Kevin in the future it is better that he leaves. But he’s a big boy. He must make his own choices.”

As I say, these next few games will provide us with a major indication of Mourinho’s feelings towards KDB. If he doesn’t play, expect him to leave in the January window either in a permanent deal or loan to one of the major European clubs.

It’s ridiculous to think that for someone that the big clubs will want, he would have been judged not good enough for Chelsea.
