Demba Ba scores a scorcher of a goal for Besiktas

Demba Ba has prospered since moving away from Chelsea

Former Chelsea striker Demba Ba helped his side Besiktas to a come-from-behind win over Istanbul Basaksehir yesterday and he did so with a 124 km-per-hour crackerjack of a shot. Istanbul goalkeeper Volkan Babacan stood no chance of saving the shot and watched it smash the crossbar before going into the net.

The goal came in the 63rd-minute before Kerim Frei’s match winner as Besiktas won the game despite finishing the on the pitch with 9-men. The win helped Besiktas remain within touching distance of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray who are 2 points ahead on the top of the Turkish league.
