It’s the 30th June and the day that contracts expire. After much speculation about whether or not Salomon Kalou will be leaving the club, he has confirmed this morning on Twitter that his time has come to an end.
I have written an article previously about Kalou and I think it’s a fair judgement. It’s called “From the sublime to the ridiculous” and I think that even Sala, being honest, would call it “fair judgement”.
One thing is for sure about Kalou; he always gave everything in a Chelsea shirt whenever he started or came on as a substitute even if it never went according to plan and we have to thank him for that.
To Salomon Kalou, we all wish you well for the future and thank you for playing your part in the most successful time in our history!.
