Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that the club have received two bids for Kevin De Bruyne and that they would be willing to do business if they come up to scratch.
De Bruyne joined the Blues from Genk in January 2012. Having immediately been loaned back to them for the remainder of the season, he was then sent out on loan again at the start of the 2012-2013 campaign, this time to Werder Bremen. Initially signed by André Villas-Boas, Mourinho is the fourth manager that Chelsea have had during De Bruyne’s time with the club but he has never made enough of an impression to get first team game time and now it seems that the club could be willing to let him go.

Mourinho said:
(A fee is) not agreed, but I believe that between our club and the other club we will reach an agreement.
With the World Cup coming up De Bruyne is desperate for regular football but he has been restricted to just six appearances so far this season and, with the strength in depth that Belgium have, that is simply not enough.
Despite not giving him a run in the team, Mourinho recognises De Bruyne’s potential and he will be sad to see him go but he knows that the deal is good for the club and the player.
We know he’s a fantastic young player with lots of potential. I still say I would be happy to keep him and develop him, the 50 year old said. We also have to analyse the player’s profile, the player’s personality and probably he wants so much to go that maybe it’s a good option to let him go in a very good deal for the club, by a financial point of view.
It remains to be seen whether or not De Bruyne fulfils his potential away from Stamford Bridge but if this deal goes through then he will be leaving the club with Mourinho’s blessing and may just get the run he needs to secure a World Cup place.
