Chelsea attacker Mykhailo Mudryk has confronted a fan, who took a selfie with the player and shouted, "London is red."
Mudryk, 22, arrived at Stamford Bridge in January in a deal worth £87 million from Shakhtar Donetsk after Arsenal were seemingly the frontrunners in the race to secure his signature.
The Ukrainian, though, has made a slow start to life in London, bagging a goal and two assists in 25 games across competitions. That goal came recently, in the 2-0 Premier League win at Fulham earlier this month.
Currently on international duty with Ukraine for their UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Malta, Mudryk obliged for a selfie from a fan just before getting into the team bus.
However, the fan immediately said, "London is red", suggesting he's an Arsenal fan, to which Mudryk snapped back (translated from Ukrainian):
"Why are you asking for a photo then?"

Ukraine take on North Macedonia on Friday (October 13) at the epet ARENA in neutral Prague, Czech Republic, owing to Russia's ongoing invasion of the country. Mudryk is yet to open his account in 13 senior appearances for his country but has provided three assists.
How have Chelsea fared this season?
Chelsea have had an underwhelming start to their season under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, who took over the reins this summer. The Blues have won only five of their 10 games across competitions.
Three of those wins have come in eight outings in the Premier League, where Pochettino's side are 11th with as many points, nine behind surprise leaders Tottenham Hotspur. Their two other wins have come in the EFL Cup.
