Radamel Falcao hints at Chelsea loan move for 2015/16 season

Falcao could complete a move to Chelsea after Copa America

Radamel Falcao has dropped a major hint regarding his future, after helping Colombia to a 1-0 victory against Brazil on Wednesday. The former Atletico Madrid star, has been linked with a season-long move to Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea, since the end of last season.

When questioned about the recent reports, the Colombian striker said, "I am just thinking of the Copa America and the squad, my staff are taking care of this.” About the report, he said: “It can be, you will know soon.”

Falcao endured a nightmare spell on loan with Manchester United, as he struggled to replicate his old form, that had made him one of the deadliest strikers on the planet. El Tigre suffered with injuries and loss of form and scored a meagre 4 goals in 29 appearances for the club.

Premier League champions Chelsea are on the lookout for a new stiker after losing Stamford Bridge legend Didier Drogba. Jose Mourinho has identified Falcao as one of his primary targets for the next season.

The Blues boss, who shares his agent with the 29-year-old, feels he can get the best out of Falcao and believes people are harshly judging the Monaco striker. “If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it.

“It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United,” the Chelsea boss was quoted as saying.
