Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez has hinted that the Champions League winners might be interested in the services of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, should the Frenchman be made available during the summer.

Los Blancos claimed the La Undecima by beating city rivals Atletico Madrid on penalties in the final on Saturday night. The Santiago Bernabeu outfit were crowned the champions of Europe for a record-extending 11th time in the process. AC Milan are the club with the second most European titles to their name with 7.

Pogba has attracted the interest of some of Europe's biggest powerhouses including Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United, having impressed with consistent performances during his four years in Turin.

The 23-year-old midfielder helped Juventus claim their fifth successive Serie A title this season and was one of Old Lady's best player during the course of the season. Pogba scored 10 goals while also providing 16 assists in his 49 games for the Turin outfit this season.

Perez heaped praise on the midfielder but asserted that his side already had six great players in midfield and claimed that he did not want to comment on press speculation.

The 69-year-old highlighted that it is difficult to sign players who do not have buyout clauses present in their contract, but maintained that Real Madrid is obligated to improve every year and will definitely be interested in the services of the Frenchman should he be made available.

"Pogba is a great player, but in midfield we have six great players, so I would not want to discuss speculation," Perez was quoted as saying by Goal.

"While he excites me, it is difficult to reach agreements if there are no termination clauses [in a player's contract].

"If a player such as him [Pogba] is available, we may go for him, but would have to reach an agreement.

"It is very difficult to bring someone [in]. I'll talk to [Zinedine] Zidane. Our obligation is to be much better every year. He will decide if we can get someone better than we have."

The Manchester United youth product is one of the most coveted footballers in Europe and is expected to play a key role if France want to excel in the upcoming Euro 2016, which they will be hosting.
