Footballers are role models in today’s world and off the pitch they can be compared to any other famed celebrity. Their status-quo is further enhanced by the presence of certain elements known as WAGs in their lives. Models, pop-stars, movie stars and the list goes on. No one can resist the temptation of being paired with a top-notch football player.
The fact that WAGs have attained a special place in the world of sports thanks to the emergence of Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole and other such glam dolls, it’s just a mandate that you should know the Lady luck behind the current football stars on the field.

No guesses required for who has topped this countdown! It had to be Shakira. She’s dating the Barcelona defender Gerard Pique from the past 1 year and they are looking forward to marry in the next couple of months. Unlike most WAGs, Shakira doesn’t need a soccer star for attention. She’s the more famous half of that couple, not to mention older (34 to Gerard’s 25). So little time together and its already the most talked about pairing in the world of football.
