Tottenham Transfer News: Spurs Set to Sign El-Hadji Ba

So it looks like Tottenham have finally started looking for a replacement for Luka Modric. According to the French press, El-Hadji Ba (18) will leave Le Havre soon in order to move to England. The young French midifelder was on Tottenham’s radar for quite some time, and now the club are ready to sign him for the first team. He will fly over from France to London on Thursday for his medical.

El-Hadji is a great skillful player and plays as a defensive midfielder. He reads every situation very well and can even play as a creative role. The 18 year old sensation can prove to be quite a good signing from Harry Redknapp. El-Hadji is set to sign on a three year contract. The U-18 sensation has really got the potential to be better than Modric.

The Chairman Daniel Levy at last is looking like negotiating for big signings. Club are said to be signing Diarra and Adebayor(loan) as well. They have been keen on the mystery signing as well which looks like the player is undisclosed. Harry Redknapp even has renewed interest for Bolton and England center back Gary Cahill.

Spurs are also looking to offload their deadwood of the side. Which is Wilson Palacios, Sebastian Bassong, Peter Crouch, Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley and Giovani Dos Santos. The remaining days in the summer transfer window promise to be exciting days for the Spurs fans and they are looking the most active after a poor June and July.
