Atletico Madrid chief coach Diego Simeone said on Saturday that he expects a "fifty-fifty" Champions League final against cross-town football rivals Real Madrid on May 28 in Milan.

"The final is fifty-fifty. The two teams have the same options," Simeone said at a media conference at the Wanda Atletico de Madrid Training Complex.

The Argentine coach explained that both opponents have options in a one-game match, stressing that his side wants to win, reports Efe.

He noted that his team is "well prepared", adding that "our style is to renew ourselves starting from the characteristics of the players and empowering the football player, which is the most important thing in this game".

The Argentine coach said Real Madrid have "fantastic" players and is one of the world's top three clubs, praising the Meringues' French head coach Zinedine Zidane for his "great work" with the team.

Simeone expected that Real will play the Champions League final with tactics "very similar" to those they used against Manchester City in the semi-finals.
