Manchester City’s Fernando found a new and unconventional method of stopping Cristiano Ronaldo by going straight at the Real Madrid star’s cojones. The incident occurred during the International Champions Cup match between the two clubs which Madrid won 4-1.
The incident occurred when Ronaldo was running with the ball and had cut the ball across the midfielder. The Brazilian who was easily beaten then stuck his leg out quite cynically which caught Ronaldo at the wrong place.
The Portuguese star reacted casually and laughed it off and managed to see the funny side of the awkward tackle. Even Fernando smirked at his clumsy challenge. But if the Brazilian was trying a new method to stop Ronaldo in his tracks, it certainly worked.
In the end, Real Madrid ran out comfortable winners and Ronaldo managed to get on the scoresheet as the Spanish side won the Cup beating City 4-1.
