VIDEO: Cristiano Ronaldo shows his frustration after Alvaro Arbeloa scores

A dejected Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the field at the end of the match

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly frustrated for failing to score a goal during Real Madrid’s match against Almeria in La Liga. Los Blancos won their match 3-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu, but Ronaldo had to be content without getting his name on the scoresheet.

Leading 2-0, defender Alvaro Arbeloa slid in front of Ronaldo in the 85th minute to finish off Javier Hernandez’s cross to make it 3-0, much to the frustration of the Portuguese.

The reigning Ballon d’Or winner’s frustration had started earlier at the start of the second half when it looked like he had scored to make the score 2-0, but the officials deemed it to be an own goal by Mauro dos Santos.

After the final whistle, Ronaldo was still upset as he was seen mumbling and shaking his head while walking off the field.

Earlier, the goalscoring was started through a sensational volley by James Rodriguez.
