Here are the highlights from last night’s Europa League match between Liverpool and Zenit St Petersburg. Although Liverpool ended the night with a splendid 3-1 win, it was not enough to keep them in the competition. Hulk scored the opening goal in the 19th minute. Two magical freekicks, in the 28th and 59th minutes, by Luis Suarez and another goal by Allen in the 43rd minute sealed the win for the Merseyside club. But in the end, Liverpool’s win was not enough as Zenit progresses to next round of the Europa League.
