We all know Louis van Gaal is a sprightly character – be it in the dugout or in the press.
This old video from 2010 shows just why he is revered as such a character when he was managing Bayern Munich. The German club had won the double – the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal – and were addressing the fans from the balcony of city hall in Munich.
He first thanks the women assembled there and even gives them a ‘kiss’ on his behalf. He then goes on to talk about why Bayern are the best team in the country and the possibility of soon becoming the best in Europe with the fans going wild!
