Ahead of what promises to be a feisty Manchester derby on Saturday, one Manchester City fan has already stirred up the rivalry with a hilarious video posted on the channel Blue Moon Rising. In the video, he takes fans on a “tour of Old Trafford”.

But as soon as he starts describing “historical events”, you realise something is amiss. Claiming to be a Manchester United fan himself, he starts rattling off stories that are based on fact but completely built upon fiction.

“One of the reasons that we start the tour here,” he says pointing to a spot on the road outside Old Trafford, “is because this is the exact spot that Rio Ferdinand, a very famous Manchester United footballer, jumped into the back of a car when he heard he had to take a drugs test.”

He even points to the statue of the ‘Holy Trinity’ of Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law outside Old Trafford and claims fans could take pictures of the statue of Bebe – a cult figure among football fans even though he played only seven times in four seasons as a United player.

The “guide” even brings up how United had bald legends like City had Pep Guardiola, bringing up names such as Wayne Rooney, Sir Bobby and – wait for it – Howard Webb! He even takes digs at the club’s pride in buying back their former players for exorbitant sums and claimed Marcus Rashford would break the transfer record fee when he moves back to United in the future.

What else does he have up his sleeve? Watch the video and find out!
