Manuel Neuer who is considered to be one of the best goalkeeper in the world, underwent some bizarre training. The German goalkeeper’s opponent is football cannon that blasts the ball in his direction.

The training is used to improve the player’s shot stopping ability.

Could this be the German goalkeeper’s secret to his superb ability?

Neuer who recently won his third consecutive Bundesliga title, is made to undergo such a bizarre training in an attempt to help him retain the title of best goalkeeper.

The training mostly focuses on improving the player’s ability to stop high-velocity long range shots, but the coaching staff will still need to find a creative way of improving Neuer’s ability to stop players who can weave through the defence.
