Ivan Rakitic has made quite the impact for Barcelona, as they go through a year of transition, as he has become one of the first names on the teamsheet as a result of his performances.

After the referee blew the final whistle, a young fan ran onto the pitch and hugged Ivan Rakitic as the Croatian was walking off the pitch. As the boy refused to let go, Rakitic was kind-hearted enough to let him tag along till the sidelines, when security stepped in to separate the fan from the player.
Following the intervention of the security personnel, the fan broke down into tears. Although it isn’t clearly established, reports suggest the kid was in tears because the midfielder didn’t give him his jersey.
