Nintendo’s latest party title, Mario Party 10, is all set to release in Japan a week from now. As is with any highly anticipated release, there has been plenty of new information and gameplay footage doing the rounds to keep the hype going. And now Nintendo has released two new television commercials for the game.
Nintendo of America has uploaded two new TV commercials for Mario Party 10, the first of which focuses on a Bowser Party. In the Bowser Party mode, one player can take on the role of game’s villain himself while other players will have to survive his onslaught of attacks. The Bowser player can use the Wii U GamePad’s to control the character and deal some damage. This looks like it will be a lot of fun to play with a group of friends.
The second video focuses on the Mario Party 10’s line of Amiibo figures and their functions. Players can use certain Amiibo’s to save powerups and take control of the boards. The video also displays the exclusive Mario Party 10 Amiibo’s, all of which will have a certain function in the game. Of course, the existing Super Smash Bros. line of Amiibos can also be used in the game, so long as they are present. All in all, it looks like a lot of fun, though Amiibo owners will have an advantage over others.
Mario Party 10 is slated to release on March 20th, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U. The game will also include two new playable characters, Waluigi and Daisy.
