MMA News: The Spider apologies running his mouth against the UFC!

Oops! A Mistake!

The Brazilian MMA legend, Anderson Silva is regarded most of the times as the greatest fighter of all time and is often the most respected one in the business. Only recently the Spider has joined the likes of Jose Aldo, Mark Hunt and many other who have voiced their displeasure regarding the functioning of the UFC.

According to Silva the company didn’t show the appreciation he deserved for stepping up on short notices, especially to save UFC 200. But now after Dana White’s retort, he wants to apologies. Silva stated that he can’t take his frustration on the entire company when it’s about a single man (Dana White).

“Definitely, I need to say sorry for everything that happened now with UFC,” Silva expressed his thoughts to TMZ. “Because, you know, Dana White is Dana White.”

It’s still not clear what exactly does Silva meant by the last phrase but he has definitely taken a step back from pointing a finger at his employer. Silva is a known UFC loyalist and was one of the last to be expected to go against the UFC.

The UFC President had previously slammed the Spider’s comments stating that Silva was far from being mistreated by the company. This comment probably softened Silva who took a turn on his stand. Anderson had shown his displeasure on the way the Brazilian athletes were treated.

If the fighters union would have formed the presence of Jose Aldo and Anderson Silva would entice other fighters to hop in.

Jon Jones was scratched off the UFC 200 card and Silva stepped in to take Daniel Cormier on two days short notice. He took the fight in a lightweight contest only to be smothered by the champ. This was one of the shortest notices Silva took to fight.
