5 whackiest football celebrations of all time

Jimmy Bullad teaches the classScoring a goal in football happens quite rarely, considering the game runs for 90 minutes. On an average, there are about 1 or 2 goals in a game. So, when a goal is scored, the celebrations are really intense. And sometimes, they are extremely funny too! Here are a few of the funniest celebrations football players have come up with.

#1 FC Stjarnan - The Entertainers

Usually, logic dictates something as epic as this should be left to the last. But just to give you an idea of what you can expect in the slides to come, we present to you FC Stjarnan. Iceland is already a cool place, and from that land comes this cool club with the whackiest celebrations.

It would perhaps be too drab to explain what these celebrations are, so instead, we have found a video compilation for you to enjoy. I personally loved the human toilet and the wind-up. Yes, I am weird like that.

#2 Scores goal, headbutts dugout

Amateur football is by definition going to be full of errors. After all, if the players were really that good, they would have probably turned professional. But in a bizarre turn of events, an amatuer Italian player scored a scrappy goal and celebrated his goal by running towards the dugout and headbutting it. For no good reason.

Imagine his surprise when the referee duly showed him the red card for destroying property.

#3 Robbie Fowler\'s cocaine

It’s not every day a famous player for a famous club comes out and celebrates drug abuse. But then again, it’s Robbie Fowler. He scored a penalty and promptly went down to the ground and mimicked sniffing cocaine. They say follow your heroes. But kids, cocaine isn’t worth it.

#4 Jimmy Bullard takes a class

If there ever was a list made of managers who were one season wonders, Phil Brown would certainly make the list. After earning plaudits for Hull’s season in the top flight, he began to believe in his own hype, which is never a good thing. He took to making himself the centre of attention and not at all like how the real managers do.

So when he sat down his players in the middle of the pitch to give a half time team talk in front of the whole stadium when Hull were losing badly to Manchester City, you can understand the players not liking it at all. When Jimmy Bullard equalised in the same fixture the next season, he took the p*ss out of his manager by imitating him in his goal celebration.

#5 Mirko Vucinic in tidy whities

No matter how much of a man crush you have on any player, you definitely don’t want to see him in his undies, and definitely not with the whole stadium watching. So when Mirko Vucinic scored a goal against Switzerland and promptly ripped off his shorts, it was definitely a weird moment.

But get this, he’s done it before too, while playing for Roma!
