Hull City Association Football Club is a professional football club based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The club was formed in 1904 and it currently takes part in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football.
Hull City or 'The Tigers' achieved promotion to the top flight for the first time in their history during the 2007-08 season. A few years later, in 2013-14, they finished 16th in the Premier League. Thus, marking their highest ever finish in the top flight. The 2013-14 season also saw the Tigers go all the way to the FA Cup final where they lost 3-2 to Arsenal.
Hull play their home matches at the KCOM Stadium. The arena can hold nearly 25,000 spectators and is one of the more scenic grounds across England. The club is owned by Assem Allam whereas its current manager is Nigel Adkins.
