The 2013/14 La Liga season was one of the most exciting seasons in the history of La Liga. The winner of the Spanish League was not decided until the last match of the tournament between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. Atletico Madrid emerged champions of the 2013/14 La Liga season after Diego Simeone’s team held Barcelona for 1-1 draw at Camp Nou. In the 2014/15 season many star players left the La Liga to join the Premier League in England but the La Liga has still managed to maintain it’s spark by signing new World-Class stars from other clubs. #1 GK- Iker Casillas
The Spanish veteran was in fine form in the 2013/14 season for Real Madrid. Casillas did not feature much in Madrid’s La Liga campaign, but the Spanish stopper was pivotal in Madrid’s successful Copa Del Rey and Champions League campaign. The 33-year old did not have a very good World Cup at Brazil after he left 7 goals go past him in Spain’s ill-fated campaign.

#2 LB- Marcelo
The Brazilian left-back has impressed throughout in the 2013/14 season for Real Madrid. Marcelo’s dribbling ability has been one of his major strength’s. The Brazilian also scored a goal in the Champion’s League final against Atletico Madrid which Real Madrid eventually won. Marcelo also scored the opening goal of the World Cup but unfortunately it was against his own side.
Marcelo’s rating in FIFA 14 is 83 and his rating in FIFA 15 may go upto 85 because of his young age and also potential.

#3 RB- Juanfran
Juanfran was crucial in Atletico’s 2013/14 La Liga winning season. The Spanish international performances for Atletico in the 2013/14 season led to an inclusion in the Spanish squad for the World Cup. Juanfran did not play many games at the WC for Spain. Juanfran’s ability to win the ball cleanly and also crossing abilities are his major strengths.

#4 CB- Sergio Ramos

The Uruguayan formed an incredible partnership with Miranda in Atletico Madrid’s 2013/14 title winning campaign. Diego Godin scored the equaliser for Atletico in the title-decider against Barcelona from a corner. The center-back also scored for Uruguay against Italy which was the winner of the match which led the South-American’s to the round of 16.

#6 RCM- Toni Kroos
The German midfielder transferred to the Spanish Capital from the Bayern Munich for a fee believed to be around €25 million. Toni Kroos’ also had an incredible 2013/14 season with Bayern Munich and also with Germany. The German’s performances for both club and country were exceptional. Kroos’ accurate passing and ability to shoot from both legs are his major strengths.
