World Athletics Indoor Championships Glasgow 2024 - Day Two
All you need to know about the official podium outfits of the US Olympics team

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Crouser was recently spotted with Nike's official podium outfits for the US Olympics. The 31-year-old appeared with breakdancing star Sunny Choi on the TODAY show.

This comes after the huge controversy over Nike's Olympic track and field uniforms. The multi-billionaire brand was slammed by various prominent Olympians such as Tara David Woodhall and Queen Claye for having a unitard with a high-bikini line for women's athletes.

Fast forward to April 17, and glimpses of the US Olympic team podium outfits were revealed on the TODAY show. The outfit includes a blue zipped jacket with blue tracks. Besides, the athletes will also be wearing pairs of Nike Air Max Dn shoes to provide greater comfort and cushioning to the athletes.

The brand has also introduced a new edition of shoes for breakdancing athletes- Nike Jam. All the US Olympic team athletes will be equipped with all the gear and equipment provided by the multi-billionaire sports apparel brand.

Nike has explained various features of their outfit. It stated that the material used in the outfits includes 'a stretch woven material and a Dri-FIT liner.' It further added that the 'angled, perforated ventilation on the chest is a nod to the classic Nike Windrunner design.'

During the show, Ryan Crouser was also asked by the host of the show about the comfort level that the uniform provides. Crouser replied:

"I like it. I like it a lot."

The two-time Olympic gold medalist shot put thrower Ryan Crouser has been one of the most dominating individuals when it comes to this discipline. The Oregon native has 10 of the 15 top-most shot put throws in the world which speaks tons about his skillset and temperament.

Similarly so, Crouser has faced very little resilience in the Olympics as well as the World Championships. With the Paris Olympics just around the corner, the 31-year-old will have another opportunity to sore his name high at the greatest sporting event of the summer — the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Portland native already started his preparation for a third gold medal before the 2024 season started. He has been in some form since the start of the season and clinched the USATF Indoor and World Athletics Championships in Glasgow in recent months.

With this stunning form, Crouser will be a force to reckon with for the shot put throwers across the world in the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
