"Do you remember taking your kids money?"— Kel Mitchell's ex-wife Tyisha Hampton claps back at actor's claims about their marriage

Tyisha Hampton, the ex-wife of actor and TV personality Kel Mitchell, recently expressed her bitterness regarding her marriage to Mitchell and made several accusations against him. She uploaded around 18 videos on May 15 on TikTok to do so.

Her videos surfaced shortly after the May 15 episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, where Mitchell delved into his life, career, and difficult marriage to Hampton. During the podcast, he also alleged that she cheated on him.

In response to Kel's interview, Hampton opened up about her concerns for their children and detailed her allegations of mistreatment by him in her TikTok videos. She said-

"Do you remember taking your kids’ money? Do you remember being completely being physically, mentally abusive… do you remember that you used to beat me and hit me and choke me and strangle me?"

Hampton's videos were a response to the revelations made by the All That star during his interview, where he claimed that his ex-wife allegedly cheated on him at least twice, leading to two pregnancies. Additionally, he mentioned undergoing an exorcism to rid himself of a purported "hex" placed on him by his ex-wife.

In her TikTok videos, Hampton refuted the claims of multiple pregnancies altogether.

After their separation and subsequent divorce, Kel Mitchell and Tyisha Hampton carried on with their legal and public issues. Recently, the two finally opened up about the divorce and leveled several allegations against each other.

Recently, during an appearance on the podcast Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, the former Nickelodeon actor Kel Mitchell revealed details on his marriage to Hampton.

According to an article published on May 16 by Essence, the actor claimed:

"I ended up marrying my ex-wife because we had another baby. We had the abortion and then we had a baby… and she ended up telling me that the baby that was aborted wasn’t mine"

In another TikTok video, Tyisha Hampton, Kel Mitchell's ex-wife, also shared about Kel's and another TV host, Nick Cannon's relationship.

As reported by iHeart, in the May 15 video, Hampton stated:

"Remembering when I came home early to #NickCannon wearing my full cheerleading uniform (including the briefs) doing cheers on the bed for my ex husband #kelmitchell to cheer him up, because he cheated on me!”

She further stated:

"You can definitely be blinded by love."

Additionally, she claimed he wouldn't take accountability for his own deeds.

Addressing Kel's allegations against her, she added:

"This is the story that I guess he’s been telling people, and I’m sure the story has morphed into five different men. I don’t even know. You’re trying to get people not to like me or think I’m some wh*re and that will somehow change the reality of what happened. That’s just now it works at all."

She also stated that she has "never cheated" on him and that a DNA test had confirmed that he was the father of her children. She then implied that Mitchell had been an absentee father. Additionally, she revealed that he had unpaid financial commitments totaling millions of dollars, including alimony and child support.

Furthermore, Hampton claimed that Mitchell's IRS debt caused her to even serve jail time. She also discussed Kel Mitchell's past drug use.

Kel Mitchell is currently married to rapper Asia Lee. Additionally, neither Mitchell nor Hampton have said anything more regarding the entire incident.
