A'ja Wilson serves up witty 4-word response to fan shooting his shot

A'ja Wilson had a strange encounter with a fan on Wednesday when the fan sent her a bizarre tweet suggesting that she should have his baby. The Las Vegas Aces star wittily shut down the weird comment.

The fan posted the comment on X (formerly Twitter) in response to the Aces congratulating A'ja Wilson for being included in TIME Magazine's list of the top 100 most influential people in the world.

The fan's tweet read:

"Let me have your baby. I'll be the best Quincy McCall ever seen."

The second part of the tweet referenced the movie "Love & Basketball," which depicted the story of Quincy McCall and Monica Wright, neighbors in Los Angeles who both pursued basketball careers before ultimately falling in love.

A'ja Wilson responded to the fan's tweet by saying that the fan was doing too much.

“First sentence is OD sir lmaooo,” she said.

In her six-year WNBA career, A'ja Wilson has secured two championships, two MVP awards, and five All-Star selections. She has career averages of 19.9 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.

Outside of the WNBA, she has won a college championship, an Olympic gold medal and two FIBA World Cup titles.

Tom Brady praises A’ja Wilson as she makes TIME Magazine's most influential list

Tom Brady, the former quarterback for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who is also a part owner of the Aces, penned an essay for TIME Magazine in which he lauded A'ja Wilson as a symbol of resilience, compassion and unwavering dedication.

“A’ja Wilson is not just a champion; she is a symbol of resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication,” Brady said. “Her story is a reminder that with passion and fearlessness, anyone can achieve greatness.”

Brady also commended the Aces star for her role in the team's successes and expressed enthusiasm for her future endeavors in her career.

A’ja’s determination and drive for excellence are the forces behind her team’s consistent victories. Her championship mentality not only secures her place in sports history but also cements her legacy of greatness that extends far beyond the realm of sports," Brady said.
And the best part is, she’s just getting started. She continues to push boundaries and inspire others with her remarkable journey.

No NBA player made it to this year's list. The list of athletes included Formula One star Max Verstappen, American football star Patrick Mahomes, South African rugby union star Siya Kolisi, Spanish footballer Jenni Hermoso, Indian freestyle wrestler Sakshi Malik and A'ja Wilson.
