In a Wrestlemania 23 rematch, John Cena and Shawn Michaels were involved in a non-title singles match in the April 23, 2007 episode of Monday Night Raw. The match lasted nearly an hour and is widely regarded as the best match of John Cena’s career, though he might have lost it. Michaels and Cena were like two gladiators in this match, trading blows back and forth numerous times and yet not succumbing to defeat timidly. The match ended with a superkick by ‘Heart Break Kid’ Shawn Michaels on John Cena, which earned him a much deserved victory.
