TNA News: Impact Wrestling will air on Pop TV in September

Impact Wrestling will air on Pop TV without any change

Pop TV’s recent upfront report caused a roar in the wrestling community. With all the troubles TNA facing, many expected that it would be the end of TNA. But, Pop TV President, Brad Schwartz cleared the air about that speculation and announced that Impact Wrestling will air on Pop TV in September. He also said that they have no plans of cancelling the show.

Brad Schwartz was interviewed by PWInsider recently after the hiatus with the upfronts. Brad talked candidly about various topics and answered various questions regarding TNA. Brad told that he was a big fan of TNA and he loved the product as a whole. He also revealed that Impact Wrestling is the second highest rated show in their network and they are not planning to dump their second highest rated show.

On talking about the upfronts, he said that it was never targeted to reach people. He explained the concept of upfronts and said that the reason that TNA was not in their upfronts is because they are not selling TNA as the viewers already know about TNA.

Brad also talked about TNA replays being pulled from Pop. He said it was a marketing decision and the change in TV has made replays less impactful than they used to be. Brad also refused to having any say on how TNA should be. He said that he believes in hiring right people and letting them do their job and believes TNA is in right hands. He said that there is no other promotion producing better wrestling than TNA.
