Jordan Poole refuses to talk about Draymond Green conflict, says he’s focused on winning

During a press conference after the Golden State Warriors' victory against the LA Lakers on Tuesday, a reporter asked Jordan Poole about his situation with teammate Draymond Green. The reporter specifically wanted to know if things between them were still tense or if they had buried the hatchet after their scuffle in practice.

Poole didn't give a direct answer to the question. Instead, he said he was simply focused on doing his best for the team.

"We went out there, we had a job to do to win the game,” Poole said. "It was ring night and that's what we were focused on especially in the first game."

Although Draymond Green has apologized, it is believed that there is some bad blood that still exists between the two stars.

The Golden State Warriors will hope the two can settle their differences and move on if they want to defend their title.

Jordan Poole's equation with Draymond Green could dictate Golden State Warriors’ season

Jordan Poole and Draymond Green may not have resolved their issues with one another as yet. However, it doesn't seem like their relationship is affecting the Golden State Warriors. The two players demonstrated that they could still play together during the game against the Lakers and linked up well.

During one play late in the second quarter, Jordan Poole was being defended and scouted the court for open teammates. Draymond Green set up a screen and found an opening to make the cut. Poole unselfishly passed it to the cutting Green, who converted an easy layup. The Warriors fans went wild after that play.

Based on that play alone, it's safe to assume that Poole and Green are willing to work together despite their beef. Other Warriors players also seemed unaffected. Everyone on the team, especially Stephen Curry, performed efficiently against the LA Lakers.

Curry finished the game with 33 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins also contributed. Thompson scored 18 points while Wiggins had 20.

Whether Poole is willing to mend fences with Green remains to be seen. Whatever the case may be, as long as Golden State can continue to win, they won't be too bothered by the noise.
