3 things that may happen on SmackDown Live (25th June 2019) - WWE Champion attacked, The Phenom provides an update

WWE Raw was filled with surprises, especially the loss of the new United States Champion Ricochet to AJ Styles in a non-title match. While that was one of the shocking moments from Monday Nights, the biggest shock was the return of The Deadman, whose performance against Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown got a lot of negative reaction.

The WWE Universe didn't expect that, and that is the reason why everyone in the arena and at home were completely taken by a shock. The Big Dog didn't ask for The Reaper's help, but it was definitely worth the time during the 3-hour program. My colleague Riju Dasgupta did an article on the possible reasons why The Phenom decided to return to the squared circle, and you can read it here.

With less than a month to go for Extreme Rules, let's take a look at three things on the blue brand that will definitely raise the ratings and the thrill for the WWE Universe.

So without further ado, let's get down to them:

No one expected the 24/7 championship to fair this well, but it is R-Truth and his amazing gimmick that has made the WWE Universe a believer in the championship and the storyline.

With the way, jobbers have got on screen time it is a no brainer that R-Truth will continue the fun on Tuesday Nights. If you recall he also called Drake Maverick 'Hornswoggle' during the Miz TV segment and then crashed his wedding to win the 24/7 Title back from him.

This wouldn't be the only segment that will get the fans talking, so let's discuss the other possible segments that may happen on SmackDown Live.

#2 Will 'The Destroyer' destroy the WWE Champion?

Samoa Joe lost his United States Championship on Sunday at the inaugural WWE Stomping Grounds, and it looked like he would go after the new champion, Ricochet. Instead of the obvious, Joe took a different route and decided to take down the current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston during Monday Night Raw.

It came as a shock to some, but with the wildcard rule in place, The Samoan Submission Machine will try to inflict more pain on the champion so that the match between the two could be made official on the show or this week. With 20 days and just two episodes of SmackDown Live to go before Extreme Rules comes to our TV screens, this will happen sooner than expected.

Also, it would be a great aspect to know which match do they agree upon? Tables, Ladders, Extreme, No Disqualification match, the list is endless, and so is the entertainment pertaining to this match and show.

#1 The Phenom Goes Extreme

The Undertaker is a legend, and you can't take away the fact that the legendary performer deserves to be in the hall of fame. Despite his lackluster performance between the ropes at WWE Super ShowDown, The Phenom returned on Monday Nights to assist Roman Reigns against a 2 on 1 attack.

The match is official for Extreme Rules, and if the company plans to hype it up the best way will be to have him show up on Tuesday Nights and interrupt Roman Reigns' promo. The two against The Prodigal Son and The Scottish Pschyopath in a war of words will be the ultimate way to entice fans for the match at WWE Extreme Rules.

Will this be the last time we will see The Deadman between the ropes or this will be one of many in time? We will have to wait for results when the show comes to the TV screens.

Anything else you think can happen on SmackDown? Sound off in the comments.
