Let us take a look at the 5 most noteworthy rumors doing the rounds related to the RAW Reunion:

#5 John Cena will be a part of the show

This shouldn't come as a surprise to most fans who have followed Cena's career. While no longer a full-time member of the roster, Cena has always maintained that WWE is his first love. And it would be unimaginable to have a RAW Reunion without the man WWE has dubbed 'The Greatest Of All Time'.

John Cena's name has not been officially mentioned on WWE.Com's list of expected legends and even Dave Meltzer of WON had stated that Cena is not expected to be part of the RAW re-union; however, a new report states that 'The Champ' will, in fact, be present at the grand event.

Here is what John Cena had said when asked if he would be part of the historic show:

They say it's going to be one of the biggest RAWs of all time, and it's certainly memorable. Um...we'll see?

#4 Multiple Hall of Famers have refused to come

While WWE is building the event as the greatest reunion of all time, there is some bad news in terms of the Superstars who are willing to come to this reunion.

Legendary WWE Commentator Jim Ross, who now works for All Elite Wrestling stated that he had refused to show up to the RAW reunion when Vince McMahon had pitched the idea to him.

Other Hall of Famers who will definitely not be appearing on the reunion show include former WWE Champion Bret Hart and current ROH Superstar Bully Ray, better known as Bubba Ray Dudley in WWE.

While fans speculate Hart's involvement with AEW could be the reason for his non-appearance, the chances are that The Hitman merely had prior commitments.

While Bubba's long-time Tag Team partner D-Von has been advertised for the show, it is rather sad that we will not be getting a Dudley Boyz's return at the show.

#3 Hulk Hogan planning an Invasion angle

Would you like to see all the reunion Superstars take over RAW?

Yeah, me neither. But if we are to take Hulk Hogan's word, that is exactly what The Hulkster may be planning for the grand episode of RAW.

While the idea might seem absurd at first, you can never really rule out the possibility of WWE trying something sensational like this in order to create buzz. And while it would be a better option to take the former WWE Champion's word with a pinch of salt, it surely would be a sight to behold watching the old generation and new generation clash in the middle of the ring.

Interestingly, the current RAW Woman's Champion Becky Lynch did not take very kindly to Hulk's idea and was ready with a snide remark of her own saying, "Yeah, that doesn’t work for me, Brother."

#2 The Rock will not be a part of the show

There was a lot of speculation regarding the possibility of The Rock making an appearance on RAW this week. However, WON has reported that unfortunately, Dwayne Johnson is unlikely to appear on this mega edition of RAW.

They further stated that The Brahma Bull has been contracted to appear on the first SmackDown on FOX, but even that is up in the air.

#1 Who was really behind the reunion idea?

Interestingly the reunion is not actually an idea from WWE Creative, instead, it was USA Network's idea. Here is what Dave Meltzer of WON (as per Cagesideseats.com) has stated:

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter it’s mentioned the Raw Reunion show came about because it was “one of the least bad ideas” from USA Network to turn ratings around.

It was also stated that the reunion was originally planned for the debut show of SmackDown on FOX before being moved to RAW. But it looks like Vince McMahon agreed to the idea merely because it wasn't a bad one.
