Impact Wrestling

While All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor and WWE have been filling the wrestling quota for many over the past 6 months, Impact is quietly putting on an incredible product, and right now, they're just as good as any of those other promotions.

Slammiversary XVII was a great show, and they've got some fantastic talents on their roster, but to compete on a bigger level, they need some more names, and there's plenty of great indie wrestlers looking for that stage.

While their roster is great in every way, adding more depth and variety would help them stand out further, and would only help to improve Impact's great product. While a lot of these performers are likely looking at ROH, AEW or WWE, Impact has been great lately, and given this, the following are 5 performers that we'd love to see take a different route, and head to Impact Wrestling.

#5 Chris Brookes

Chris Brookes

While wrestling moves are great, it's the stories and the characters that truly make it stand out, and there are few more entertaining and creative wrestlers on the indies than Chris Brookes. The Calamari Catch King has been a tag team wrestler for a number of years now, but he's now on his own, and while honing his craft in DDT Pro, he'll keep getting better, and he deserves a big-time shot.

While AEW, ROH or WWE would be lucky to gain the services of the British star, Impact is the best place for him now, as they'd allow him to work with his character and give him some great creative freedom.

It's unknown how Brookes wants his current career to go, but it's unlikely he wants to leave the UK full time, so Impact would be wise to chase Brookes as a future main event player.
