WWE News: Triple H talks highly of a "special" WWE Superstar

What's the story

'The King of Kings', Triple H took some time out to release a beautiful statement about former WWE Divas Champion Paige and her recently released biopic.

In case you didn't know...

Paige retired from in-ring competition due to an unfortunate injury that occurred in December 2017. During a WWE Live Event as part of a 6-Woman Tag match, Paige suffered a bad whiplash episode from a move performed with Sasha Banks. A little over a month later, she would announce her retirement in an emotional statement on Monday Night RAW.

Paige would go on to become the new SmackDown Live General Manager throughout 2018 after replacing Daniel Bryan. However, she was forced to step down following a "shake up" by the McMahon family, who felt the need to scrap the General Manager's post altogether. Since then, Paige has made sporadic appearances to promote her movie.

The heart of the matter

Triple H took a moment out of his busy schedule to issue a statement with regards to Paige's movie, "Fighting with my Family". He also shared some heartfelt words for Paige in a tweet, as you can see below.

What's next

As you may know, Paige's new movie is already out in theaters as of February 14th and has received mixed reviews. The mixed reception is mostly towards the ring attire used for a select few scenes between Florence Pugh (Paige) and Zelina Vega (AJ Lee), which were completely different in comparison to what the two women had worn in reality.

Triple H hasn't returned to the ring since his injury at WWE Crown Jewel, nor is he expected to have a match at WrestleMania at this point in time. However, he is still an on-air Authority figure along with the rest of the McMahon family.
