Alongside Alysia Montaño and Kara Goucher, she pressured Nike to improve its maternity policy, leading to changes in 2019. In 2021, Felix launched her own footwear company, Saysh. Recognized for her impact, Felix was included in Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2020 and 2021. In 2022, she received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the University of Southern California, her alma mater, where she also served as the commencement speaker.
