Donald Thomas of Bahamas won Gold in Men's High Jump

Donald Thomas of Bahamas claimed the Gold on countback from Brandon Starc of Australia in a tight competition. Asia-Pacific played their joker to earn double points in Men's High Jump.

Gold - Donald Thomas (Americas - BAH) 2.30, Silver - Brandon Starc (Asia-Pacific - AUS) 2.30, Bronze - Maxim Nedasekau (Europe - BLR) 2.27.

Mariya Lasitskene of Europe won Gold in High Jump Women

The World and European Champion Lasitskene has lost one of her last 50 competitions as she took Gold in the High Jump event. She also cleared the 2.00m mark for the 16th timer this year. Europe collected double points by playing the joker.

Catherine Ibarguen of Colombia won Gold in Triple Jump Women

Reigning Olympic Champion Ibarguen from Colombia registered her best jump in her first attempt to take her to the finals against her rival Rypakova of Kazakhstan. Rypakova failed her last attempt to hand the Gold to Ibarguen. America played their joker and collected double points.

Gold - Catherine Ibarguen (Americas - COL) 14.76, Silver - Olga Rypakova (Asia-Pacific - KAZ) 14.26 (SB), Bronze - Paraskevi Papachristou (Europe - LCA) 14.22.

Triple Jump Men

16th IAAF World Athletics Championships London 2017 - Day Seven
Christian Taylor of USA claims Gold in Triple Jump Men

It was a one-man show as Christian Taylor blew the field with an effort of 17.59m in his first attempt, which is half a meter clear of the Silver medalist. America playing their joker collected maximum points.

Long Jump Men

Samaii of South Africa rightfully took the Gold as he was the consistent performer with four of his jumps well clear of his second-placed compatriot Tentoglou of Greece.

Catherine Ibarguen collected her second medal of the competition with a National record to boot as take the Long Jump Gold.
