RMV Gurusaidutt comfortably moved into the second round of the US Open

India’s RMV Gurusidutt breezed his way into the second round of the 2015 US Open Grand Prix Gold with a comfortable 21-11 21-8 straight games win over Nathaniel Ernestan Sulistyo of Indonesia in the first round.
Although the game began with both players, exchanging leads at different intervals, it was Gurusaidutt, who took the first significant step towards winning the game, winning the next 7 points to got from being 7-5 up to 14-5 up. That surge in points almost took the Indonesian out of the game as Gurusaidutt maintained the lead and eventually won the game 21-11.

If the first game proved to be an easy affair for the Indian, the second one proved to be no contest as the Indian hammered his opponent 21-8, first winning 7 points on the trot at the start and then stretching the lead further, never giving his opponent any opening and comfortably progressing into the second round.
He will take on fellow countrymen Anand Pawar in Round 2.
