With just four days to go for the draws to be announced, the seedings for the shuttlers at the 2016 Rio Olympics were revealed on Thursday. Two Indian Women’s Singles players found themselves in the Top 10 with Saina Nehwal seeded 5th and PV Sindhu seeded 9th.
India’s sole representative in the Men’s Singles, Kidambi Srikanth will also be the 9th seed in the competition. Only 4 seeds were revealed in each of the three doubles categories and none of the Indian doubles pairing were among them.

Lee Chong Wei and Carolina Marin will be the top seeds in the Men’s and Women’s Singles respectively.
The draws will be announced on Tuesday and the medal round of the competition at the Games will start from the 16th of August.
