World Badminton Rankings: Parupalli Kashyap moves up one spot to be placed 9th

India’s top ranked men’s singles shuttler Parupalli Kashyap moved up one spot to be placed ninth in the latest World Badminton Federation rankings.

Among the other Indians, Ajay Jayaram retained his 31st spot, while RMV Gurusaidutt advanced one spot to be placed 38th.

However, Sourabh Varma slipped one place to be 42nd while the likes of B Sai Praneeth, Anand Pawar, K Srikanth and HS Pranoy retained their 50th, 51st , 61st and 85th positions respectively.

Arvind Bhat fell one spot to 109th while Chetan Anand also dropped one spot to be 113th. Anup Sridhar retained his 111th spot.

Among the Indian women, Saina Nehwal retains her world number two position and the same was the case with PV Sindhu, who also clung on to her 16th position.

PC Thulasi dropped one spot to be placed 94th, while Arundhati Pantawane slipped two places to be 109th.

Neha Pandit slipped four spots to be placed 113th while Tanvi Lad fell three places to hold the 117 slot.
