March Madness 2023 has reached the Sweet 16 phase. This stage of the NCAA Tournament starts on Thursday and will feature several amazing teams that are among the favorites to win the national championship.

There have been many upsets so far, but some teams have played great basketball consistently, which is why their odds of winning it all are very high.

The Sweet 16 will feature two first seeds, while No. 15 Princeton will try to pull another upset.

These five teams have the best odds to win March Madness 2023

#1, Alabama Crimson Tide (31-5)

No. 1 Alabama has had two convincing victories so far in the tournament. The Crimson Tide defeated No. 16 Texas A&M-Corpus Christie by 21 points (96-75) in the first round and No. 8 Maryland by 22 points (73-51) in the second round.

#2, Houston Cougars (33-3)

Besides Alabama, the Houston Cougars are the other top-seeded team left in the tournament. The Cougars started the tournament with an 11-point victory over Northern Kentucky (63-52), and they beat No. 9 Auburn 81-64 in the second round.

#3, UCLA Bruins (31-5)

No. 2 UCLA had a 33-point victory (86-53) in the first round against No. 15 UNC Asheville, but won the second game by only five points, beating Northwestern 68-63. The Bruins will have a tough matchup in the next round as they face No. 3 Gonzaga (30-5).

The matchup between UCLA and Gonzaga should be fun to watch, but if the Bruins win, they will have a great chance of winning March Madness 2023. With a victory, they will advance to the Elite Eight, where they will face the winner of the Arkansas-UConn matchup.

#4, Texas Longhorns (28-8)

Another great Sweet 16 game will be between the Texas Longhorns, seeded second in the Midwest, and the Xavier Musketeers (27-9), seeded third. Both teams are high seeds, although Texas is the favorite to win the matchup.

#5, UConn Huskies (27-8)

No. 4 UConn will look to advance to the Elite Eight for the first time in nine years. The last time the Huskies reached this phase, they had Shabazz Napier and ended up winning it all. Can they win March Madness 2023 as well?
